Converse Chuck taylors have been trending for as long as I can remember. This sneaker is literally my go-to, there’s three reasons why I love them (1) they go with any outfit (2) They give of a cool vibe (3) I’m just a sucker for white sneakers lol. 😁👍

I’m no hairstylist to judge, but I’ve seen alot of girls with hair colour that don’t suit their skin tone.. And they’re changing it quite often.
How often you dye your hair varies depending on your situation. However, as a girl you should know that coloring your hair often will lead to hair fall and damage as time passes- your hair will become brittle and break easily if you overdo it on the chemical process. This can be prevented by conditioning regularly / using a conditioning mask before and after coloring.
It’s best to know what hair colours suit you in order to bring out your beautiful features! So let’s get started.
What is your skintone?
Start by determining if you have cool tones or warm tones. There’s two ways in which you can figure this out according to @jackmartincolorist.
#1 by examining your wrist veins
Greenish colour veins indicate warm undertones
Blue or purple veins indicate cooler skin tones
If you see a mix of blue, green and purple, that indicates a neutral undertone.
#2 by examining your eyes
Golden or hazel eye flecks indicate warm undertones
Blue or Grey eye flecks can indicate cool undertones
A mix of both indicates a neutral skin tone
Cool hair colours will complement cool skin tones. Warm hair colours will complement warm skin tones, and neutral skin tones are the most flexible, if you have this skin tone you can literally pull off any hair colour-both warm and cool tones, from beige blonde to cool platinum.

Block heel thigh-high boots
So there’s different types of thigh-high boots in terms of the heel size and width. You get the pencil heel type, the wedge, and the block heel.
My personal favorite is the block heel (shown in the image above), this is because I feel they look more better with my outfits rather than no heel, also I cannot walk in those pencil heels!😂
If you’re a petite girl like me then please make sure to get the one’s with a string attached which makes it adjustable so your boots don’t fall easily while walking. If you have thick thighs then well the better for you. 😏

Makeup from popular brands can be ridiculously expensive. I for one don’t really care about the expense of the products I use, if it looks good on me, even if it’s cheap, I’ll use it. 😅
I love makeup, however I’m also not the type of girl to go crazy over every makeup product that comes out. Only occasionally will I go all out with makeup-that’s when I will pull out the expensive products and put them to use. But for a normal everyday look I honestly just use drugstore makeup. You’ll be surprised at how much great reviews these products have.
These products where purchased at either Dischem or Clicks. The signature products where purchased online from the Signature cosmetics store. I’ll list the pricings below.
With that being said here’s a look of what drugstore makeup products I use. 😊🤓
#1 LA girl / Wet & Wild concealers
These are the two shades I use. Creamy beige, and Toast for contour. These products I purchase from Dischem- they sell for about R60 each.
Okay I absolutely love the quality of this concealer! It works great for me and conceals marks that I may encounter on my face so well. I use this in the shade light/medium beige. I purchase this from Clicks- it sells for about R75.
Ps. I don’t use foundation. I feel it destroys my skin and makes me look old 😅 also I find it abit heavy on my skin, I’ve tried many even light weight foundations, but I prefer to use concealer only.
#2 Maybelline bronze and highlight palette
Love love love! I even use this sometimes as eyeshadow and it looks so pretty. 😊 This sells for about R290.
#3 Nyx ultimate eyeshadow pallette
These colours are eye catching, which is why I chose this pallette. So many eye looks to do with this one. 😋😌 Price- About R320
#4 Essence waterproof eyeliner
I recently purchased this one and it finished so quickly! 🙄 If you like the hard tip of the liner then you will like this, I prefer the opposite though. Price- R65
#5 Essence eyebrow gel
One of my favs. 😊 Super easy to apply with a thin angled eyebrow brush. Price- R82
#6 Essence false lash mascara
This was reviewed the best drugstore mascara..and let me tell you, they were right. This volumizes your lashes on another level. I use this and refrain from using false lashes. 🤭 Price- R60
#7 Nyx soft matte lip cream
I sometimes use this as blush, and it looks fab. 😅😉 Price- R130
If you want comfort then leggings are the way to go. However, it can be tricky on how you style them. Some girls fear them because they don’t want their crotch area to show- (it’s me, I’m girls) 😅 but there are other ways to style it without revealing that particular area. The use of oversized jerseys/hoodies, jackets and long tees can be used.
For a more hotter look and if you aren’t afraid of showing that “area” 😂 then you go girl! 😉 You can pair that up with a crop top/tee-shirt.
Leggings can also be pulled of for a chic look- with a blazer or a trench coat- and it looks so good!

#1 The Chic/ Classy Look
Okay 😍 Victoria Beckham slayed this look! She paired the leggings up with a blazer, belt and black stilletos. This is a classy way to pull off leggings for a day at the office.

Makeup looks have been changing alot over decades.
In early 2000s there was colorful eyeliner/ mascara, blue eyeshadow, thin eyebrows, lip liner as well as glossy lips. In 2016 makeup techniques were inspired by drag queens-from thick, dark carved eyebrows to dramatic eye makeup with a dark lip, not forgetting all of that highlighter that everyone was going crazy about! 😅
However, things have changed now. It’s all about simplicity and applying makeup that enhances your beauty, not covering it up! 🥺🌼
Everyone has different opinions and ways in which they apply their makeup, some may prefer full glam while others stick with the simple techniques.
Just to add my opinion I still love the full glam/drag queen makeup, I love makeup to actually show on my skin 💁♀️😂 but only once in a while, like for special occasions. Other than that my everyday go to makeup look would be simple, done in under 10mins. 🤪

Combat boots- Designed to make a fashion statement!
These boots are definitely a must have! They go well with literally any outfit perfect for any season.
The perfect fit, good quality and so comfortable. I personally love these because of its platform sole that gives me some height as I’m 5’0. 😀 They come in colours such as the basic black, white and I’ve seen red and pink. I prefer the black though, more classy might I say 🙂
These jeans are not only super comfy-they look absolutely adorable. Bt. Dubbs they aren’t just for moms to use 😅 teens use them as well. They go great with tees for a casual look and I’ve seen some celebrities pair them up with a blazer which looks quite smart. If you tired of using skinny jeans, as well as those high waisted ones that make you unable to breathe, give the mom jeans a try. You’ll love them without a doubt!
