2021 Makeup Trends

Makeup looks have been changing alot over decades.

In early 2000s there was colorful eyeliner/ mascara, blue eyeshadow, thin eyebrows, lip liner as well as glossy lips. In 2016 makeup techniques were inspired by drag queens-from thick, dark carved eyebrows to dramatic eye makeup with a dark lip, not forgetting all of that highlighter that everyone was going crazy about! 😅

However, things have changed now. It’s all about simplicity and applying makeup that enhances your beauty, not covering it up! 🥺🌼

Everyone has different opinions and ways in which they apply their makeup, some may prefer full glam while others stick with the simple techniques.

Just to add my opinion I still love the full glam/drag queen makeup, I love makeup to actually show on my skin 💁‍♀️😂 but only once in a while, like for special occasions. Other than that my everyday go to makeup look would be simple, done in under 10mins. 🤪

#1 Eyebrow lamination

No more using eyebrow pencil and darkening brows ladies 🙊 it’s all about laminating them and making those brows look slick 👌

#2 Blush blush and more blush

Okay, I have to say I’m one of those girls that tend to always put alot of blush, even on my nose. 😂 I don’t know, I just think it looks so cute, it gives you that soft girl type of makeup look. ☺️

#3 Glossy eye makeup

Hmm, glossy eyelids, they look beautiful, but let’s be honest they’re a pain in the butt to pull off. 🙄

#4 Graphic eyeliner

I looooove this trend. It’s super cool and can work both ways, for a simple and extra look. It’s all about expressing yourself 🙂
